One of the unique lenses.
I've got this lens after a few months waiting/looking. If I remember correct, it's for sale about twice a year, at least in 2011.

The lens is heavy, but consider compact regarding it is a f2.8, cover portrait focals with special feature.

Soft focus has smooth adjustment 0, 1, 2 and 3. Soft setting increases more/exponentially at the higher number. Max softness is too much, while I found softness at 1, 1.5, and 2 ok after my taste - softness at 2, 2.3, 2.5 may be the most softness usable.

Sharp wide open with no softness.

More info about this lens: http://www.adaptall-2.org/lenses/51A.html

f2.8, soft 2, 70mm, no flash:

f5.6, soft 1, 70mm, flash:

Thanks for looking.

The lens is heavy to carry around, and in cold weather..

f2.8, 70mm, soft3:

f3.2, 70mm, soft1.5:

I like last, soft 1.5, this lens still on my wish list Laughing

Thanks Attila,

Soft1 is still razor sharp. The mechanic is not engage until above 0.5, but soft1 and soft0 is hard to see differences, esp at f4 or f5.6.
Soft1.5 is just perfect after my taste. Some where between 1 and 2 would be most useful.
I walked a long walk to find a case where soft3 can be good. My mind is still with soft3 cases - a real challenge!

Another soft1.5, f3.2:

Soft 3 I think good for special subjects like lady in white customs or similar fashion shoots.

I've had a searched saved on ebay for years and only had one turn up. It went for silly money as I recall.

I start looking this lens 4 yrs before always went above 300 USD what I never would afford it current level I think around 500 USD.
Very rare lens that for sure.

Yes some Tammy can be tricky, this is one of them and perhaps rarest from all.

Hello

I have to give away my 70-150mm f/2.8 soft focus! Very fine for portrait and general photography indeed.
I regret but I need some money so you may find it on ebay with its teleconverter 2X in another auction. I am in Italy so you will look in the international auctions. I send everywhere you are.

Hope you migh be interested since it is very fine and well kept!!!
ciao
Paolo

The bokeh on the first pic doesn't seem very good to me...
