I used a small lens hood (1 cm). But it's not on the picture.

The sylvania lenses are very sharp. I am quite surprised of the sharpness. Contrast could be better, but it's always possible to boost up a little in Photoshop Very Happy

They are similar to the Soligor Elitar lenses in construction, maybe thay have something in common?

Anyone know who made the Elitars?

Another lovely lens! Sylvania seems to be another name for Pentax/Cosmicar I have a couple of examples.

Your lady seems to be as patient as she is lovely! All those lenses and poses!

The lens looks a bit odd? Bigger than it should be? Older, design perhaps?

Lack of contrast is very slight, a credit to the observer, but may be a result of the natural colouring selection? Muted, perhaps?

I apologize for my slow respond, but we just bought a new house and need to sell the old one. Lots of stuff to do here and little time to lure around with my mf lenses Wink

The lens is quite small compared to the faster 75mm I have. The unusual design may trick you a bit regarding this.

I'm really happy about the 75mm range C-mounts. Almost everyone comes out as decent performers Wink

Probably the US electrical gear maker (once a major TV set manufacturer, now best known for light bulbs and a Osram subsidiary). If so, it will be from any of the Japanese OEMs turning out 8mm film cameras - many of the electrical companies jumped the 8mm train, almost all of them re-branding foreign (Japanese or sometimes even German) OEM cameras.
