Any experience ? Today I did lend one from a mate. I will publish images later in Digital Gallery.

Built quality is okay, little soft wide open , but very easy to fix it in PP. It is produces nice contrast images. It has interchangeable lens mount which is a big plus. I have positive impression about this lens really.

Hi Attila,

Does the lens have built in filters?

Thank Attila,

I was think the YS version is similar to the XQ filtermatic version:

Is yours like here: http://www.mflenses.com/gallery/v/japenese/othermaker/prakticar_24mm_f2_8

I have a PK mount f/2.5 version - but I guess that's a different kettle of fish.

If I use it wide open I don't need any lomography effects in Photoshop. Quite a lot of vignetting, soft around the edges and some distortion.

Very solid build and sharpens up very quickly though.

One of my favourites (especially wide open!)

Great images and with character. Is your lens like on Prakticar gallery link above?

Not exactly but similar I hold this lens only while I did make shoots and I gave it back to it's owner.

I've got one but in Konica A/R mount that I've adapted to 4/3:
