Hello

Does anybody happen to know, that type is this Stenheil Quinar VL 135mm f2.8 lens? How many elements? Is it similiar in construction to some other lenses?

It seems this is not a tele construction, but a real 135mm focal lenght lens. There seems to be a tele version allso, that is shorter in size.

Here is a page from an Exakta brochure that shows the regular 135 Quinar
(not "VL") as a 5-element lens:

Is the VL a bellows lens?

Thanks for that information.

Well, that seem so be a telephoto design... disappointment for me. I trying to find a fast lens (under f3.5) in 135mm focal lenght that would cover 4x5... well, even 3.5 that isn't a tessar would be fine.. i know where i could get tessars. And can't afford xenotars.
