First is with Superpan 200 and Rodinal, all other with BW400CN
The BW400CN is imho more ISO250 than 400
Biogon 28/2.8 and last with Sonnar 90/2.8

1 and 6 are my standouts on a really good series, but I really want to see the photo that person took with the camera phone in number 3! Laughing

theyre all good, but i really like 2. nice set up. i had this combination, but the autofocus kind of freaked me out in that i felt i had no control over the focus. i just couldnt get used to it. you seem to have taken well to it.

Thx
I have the same issue with that camera, which my reason to stick with Leica M. I dislike to use the G1 with the 90mm Sonnar or the 45mm Planar but I can live the the 28mm Biogon, as the focus is not very demanding with that focal length. It makes the G1 to a very classy point- and shoot camera. Contax G2 has a nice "hold-focus"-button and better AF than G1, which gives a better control. But the G2 is generally much more expensive.

Very nice series Forenseil.
I agree with your reflections.
G cameras are great for street shooting as long as you look in the viewfinder. I got great street photos that way.
Some people however are uncomfortable photographing that way and prefer to use hyperfocal shooting from the hip.
In this case, a manual focus camera is better.
