We had a brief power outage so I took my lenses over to the rose garden it was early evening and low light but the lens seemed to handle it well...plus it had been raining so I was just seeing what the lighting was like at this time. Very Happy There has been minimal Post Processing.

#3 I picked the rose off and held it against the darker sky and it shows its true colour unlike when I photographed it on the bush?

Thanks,At first I really did not like this lens.... Embarassed I am just sad that you can not smell these roses as they have the best perfume.

i just picked one of these up. at first i was a bit hesitant since it doesn't have the reputation that other pentax 50s have, but now i'm really pleased. it's perfectly useable wide open if the background is separated from the subject a little bit. i shot it on holiday in japan a little bit, and it has produced some very memorable images.

nice images mo, you've showcased the abilities of the lens (and your skills) nicely.

I can smell them in my spring to autumn souvenirs. Wink

Doing well for a lens you did not like Mo. Hope you are not affected by those torrential floods down there
