I think it is a much overlooked lens, and cheap too. It is known for it's natural reds. Here are some more pics

At one time your ancestors could have bought an Hasselblad 50D for price of tulip bulbs.Most Pentax lenses produce rich saturated colours which I like and as I shoot only Macro flora I like your Tulip pics.

Rockycameras had two, at 49gbp and 69gbp, now sold.

It's a nice lens with good IQ and color rendition but people calling it stack of Primes is indeed a overstatement IMHO - nowhere matches a good prime in IQ or even size.

Anyway, gave me some nice pictures - all of them with A35-105.

I like them!
I did some comparison shots with the highly regarded Contax 35-70/3.4 and to my surprise, center sharpness was at least as good if not slightly better from the Pentax. Borders are not as good as the Contax, nor has it the special Contax "look" but does have its own qualities. All in all a very good lens imo and deserves its name.
