Also Pentax F series lenses can be used in full manual having aperture ring and focusing ring. Rolling Eyes

I have that old Takumar F 28-80, kit lens that came with my Pentax SF-10.

Its not a bad lens really. I used it some with my K100D.
At 28mm on APS-C the corners are quite good, and there is no big problem with flare in spite of the coating.

Yes, trying to compare it with a 1000.00 lens or something obviously better is way off point, it is what it is and at 20.00 dollars it's a deal, especially for those on a budget just looking to shoot. Would the Sigma or Tokina in the same class be better? I doubt it.
