I just bought a mirror lens Sigma 5,6/400 in OM mount, in a very good shape.
I'm quite surprised of the IQ of this lens. I'm in love Embarassed .

Some examples:

1-

2-

3-

4-

Now i should test my tamron 8/500 but i don't think it will be better

Welcome to MFLenses!

You won't see photos after your first post (it's an anti spam measure), but you can see them now Smile

I've never heard of that mirror before, so many thanks for sharing your great samples! It would be great to see a picture of the lens too Smile

Hi Potard. Very Happy
Try your Tamron 8/500 cat lens.
I think it would be better than your Sigma. Wink
What is the camera used with it ?

Your lens pictures are good, Potard.

I have seen that mirror for sale on ebay and wondered about its abilities.Very nice images...did you bump up the contrast or do any post processing on these images? I find if there is bad light/poor light when using the Tamron mirror I have to make small adjustments.

Welcome!

It is the little brother of the Sirius 600mm F8. My example of that lens isn't quite as sharp as yours, maybe? Good example!

Thanks for the samples!

Slight contrast improvement on n°1 et 2.
No PP for n°3 et 4.
