I've got an old Soligor 105mm/F4 in LTM/M39 and actually not much used yet.

However, at least 1 example picture from my Ricoh GXR-M I'm able to contribute (clickable for better view):

I've totally forgotten that I've got a Pentax Asahi Super Takumar 105mm/F2.8 (2nd version 1964 - 71) as well which I've never used till date....

Just grabbed it for a quick and dirty test picture wide open at F2.8 with my Sony A7R II:

I think it's worth to test this lens a little bit further. Seems to deliver a very nice bokeh. Most probably very nice for portrait work.

I don't shoot much at this FL, but here's a nice sample of the Nikon 105/2.5 AI shot at full aperture.

Designed as portrait lens according to Gerjan/Asahi literature. Also 120/2.8

The 105mm focal length fits a bit tighter landscapes.

I think the 120mm Takumar is still missing in my Takumar tele collection. 85/100 macro/105/135/150/200/300 are on hand. Wink

Not necessarily my best but ones I rather like:

Cricket on car bonnet. EM-1, Kiron 105mm macro, flash 1/250 ISO 200.

Meadow Waxcap. EM-1, Kiron 105mm at f16, treble flash, in rain, hand-held

The group of fruits was photographed with my Kiron 105mm at f16, with a main flash on an L-bracket, but angled almost along the lens axis, and a fill level with the lens.

Superb ones, especially the stereo one, which rarely anyone else does... I like them and see it automatically, due to so many years of using them...

Thanks. I post images, usually including crosseye stereos, most days as "e6filmuser" on FM Macro World http://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/board/45

Some of the more recent ones are of slime moulds with FOV down to ca 3mm wide (not with the 105mm).

All very nice pics. I've collected quite a number of 100/105mm lenses (mostly Japanese). Will definitely take out for photos.

The following is probably by Minolta Rokkor MC 100mm f/2.5, if not by Vivitar 105mm f/2.8 T4.

Quite beautiful Macca.
First time I have seen out of focus swirl from a 105mm lens.
Thank you for sharing these
