Pretty neat whatever they are. Made for 16mm bayonet mount Russian cameras?

They're for a Letterphot photo typsetting machine. The machines were made by Diversum-Letterphot Vertrieb.

Now that makes alot more sense. They are listed on Ebay under 16mm section that's why I wondered.

not even on m4/3 if left rear part on, I did took off seems register distance in this case long works on any SLR camera , don't know yet image quality.

Dan is correct, not made for photography but for optical text printing machines.
Some have even a built in prism to rotate the image as well as optics to squeeze
the height / width.
