I waited to see how the bird would deal with this predicament- I must have waited for for about 20 minutes, and thats pretty much how it was the entire time- I did not see any knives and forks Laughing

Fence and Flower shot
This lens takes pictures from <= 8ft to infinity, and is not a bear to use hand-held. It was in Exakta mount before I converted it to M42. I enjoy both the Komura's I acquired together a year ago, the other one being a 105mm f/2.5. All four images here taken "wide open" . I see a lot of inconsistencies with prices on old Komuras on the bay (in different mounts) -I would love to hear if anyone could expand on this.

Great shots, absolutely love the starfish / bird shots Laughing Reminds me of that video of a pelican trying to swallow a pigeon Shocked Did it manage to fly off with it in the end?

Thanks .No I had to fly away first Laughing Never saw the outcome after waiting for 20 minutes or so .

Maybe a fish threw the starfish at the seagull to stop it from saying mine... mine... mine... mine... mine... mine.......(small reference to nemo Very Happy ) Great shot!
I like the fence shot as well.

Thank you Mo-fo. I need to find out if Starfish is part of the diet of Gulls or if these are just close buddies having a tete-a-tete, not likely.

Gulls are able to swallow almost everything.
I've seen once a gull swallowing a RAT, not a mouse but a big rat. Its neck doubled the usual size.

I found something they won't eat

Asian Carp

They snag these from rivers and just toss them on the banks to rot, only Turkey Vultures eat them..Gulls won't touch them
