Thanks, Jussi. The shot was made in morning light, which richened the reflections.

It is called a "tow" boat, but it actually pushes a string of barges. It had six barges loaded with coal in front of it ...

On the Warrior, which flows to the Tenn-Tom. Lots of coal floats past my place on the way to Mobile ...

Man, that pic of yours brings back some sweet memories.
I use to work as a sailer on a pusher.
Maximum load - 12 barges.

It was a hell of a work to put toghether a 12 barges convoy spreaded on the river.
2 sailors and a coxman, no electrical winches. Everything was done by hand and a wheel turned winch.
