Hey,

Just snagged one on eBay, my Planar 50/1.7 ain't wide enough on the 5D, so I thought I'd poke around and go from there, ordered an M42->EOS adapter to modify the base of the Rokkor MD.

Oh - those that are having mirror problems with the 5D and some Contax mount lenses - remove the mounting, and there's a little plastic ring that sits around the rear element and protrudes into the mirror casing. I just filed a mm or two off, and remounted. Works a treat!!
Mirror is safe and sound Very Happy
