If you see anything glow, I think its wide open. still it show some detail.
A Stopped down will improve in sharpness. What I didnt expect was infinity detail, it really amazed me, as this was built for darkroom stuff.
BTW what enlarger do you have? and what mount? I like to know more about this kind

I have 2 nikkors EL: a 50/2.8 and a 80/5.6. Can't remember the last, it's german.
I have never tried with digital as I am very unfamiliar with these.
Ordering a nex adapter from eby will take 6-8 weeks, but I am not sure which one.
For macro use, I have also several bellows: MD-mount with tilt and rotate, other are straight bellows: m42, OM and PK mount,
tilt adapter for nex, and various size for reverse mount.
I need to find a guide to use these - haven't got time to get into macro world yet. |

enlarger lenses mounted on a bellows, are outstanding for macro work. Im surprised they work as well as you

One caveat with using enlarging lenses as taking lenses is that since they werent designed to be used with 3 dimensional
targets, they often only have 5 blade diaphrams and this can cause ugly bokeh. _________________ ===========
