Bill do you use extra glass for scanning ?

At last weekend's camera show, my guy was selling a couple of AF prefix Ricoh P&S's, similar styling, I don't know if they came before or after the FF's. I didn't buy, as one needed tape over the battery compartment and the other... I forget, my eyes were bugging out at the time Laughing

Oh, he was getting $1 for each.

Attila, I have the BetterScanning ANR glass for 35mm, but seldom use it.
I found a loss in sharpness and color issues with it for some reason. It is
best to have no extra glass I think, and have read that somewhere before.
Others seem to do quite well with the ANR glass, so who knows.

I use those exact cameras too, with excellent results. And they do very well with slide film too.

Hoping for the weather to get sunny again, tired of all the rain. I've been

Ricoh FF-90 using Photoworks 800 film, expired 2005:

The Ricoh lens seems sharper than the Rokkor, which says a lot about the Ricoh. They really made a nice series in this FF.

I really like the 35mm FL, too, and agree the lenses in these are some
sharp performers.

It's nice that on my FF-90, I can set film speeds in between the normal speeds. I dragged my F3-AF up a couple of walls loaded with K-chrome 64, and got very nice slides.

Russ, why don't you post some of your KG64 shots with the FF-3AF,
would sure like to see them.

I managed to run a roll of cheap Schlecker film on the FF-3AF, and the results are surprising. A little underexposed in my opinion but well saturated and quite sharp.

I used to run K-chrome 64 through mine, with bitchen results.

It's ISO 200, we've got a lot of light here... Not even traces of the autumn/winter yet.

I've opened an entry in the gallery with the whole roll. Not other retouching than cropping the pictures at the ends of the film (that showed a black part on them).

Ricoh cams have never got the high reputation they have earned.
They are much better than most people think.
