Hi,

I want to use my Helios 44 2/58 on my dSLR's. I already ordered a M39>M42 adapter and in the mean time the lens need some thorough refurbishment. It came with the Zenit 3M (exactly the same setup as Che Guevara used before he was shot in Bolivia, next to his Nikon S2). Anyways, the photos (iphone...):









Its missing the little screws and I'm curious if i am missing more parts. I already saw there is a lot of documentation online. So in the mean time: i'm googling!

Jazzper,

Send us the historical part of the "el Che" - if it's a web link - photo equipment, it could be very interesting indeed, I would appreciate very much any documentation about it,

Here you go:

For those curious about his cameras, his preferred ones were Nikon S2 with a 50mm lens, Zenit 3M with a Helios 58/2 (it’s kept at his memorial museum in Santa Clara), as well as Plaubel Makina and Ihagee Exakta - and if I understood that correctly, a Leica 2 as well.
