my first attempt. has anyone else tried this I think I need to do some more work to get it working properly/

Oh yes, that is where I got the idea. what lenses are recomended? I have a macro bellows with an attatchment for slide copying but it is too close for all me lenses, I may try the Nikon elarger lens I have....

Too close even for both of your Flek 35s?

I made a extension in wood to put the slide extension more far away
Any lens do the job, some have bad border, chromatic aberration.
You have to test and find the best lens for the job

my poor technique has given me an idea, tilt shift while negative scanning!
