They are brass components, on an automatic transfer machine.
I was in that factory for my job, saw the machine and got this vision. So, since the owner of the factory is a medium format addicted, I've asked him if i could go there with my horseman to make a couple of snaps.

I think that this photo is best served at 1:1 magnification, at one meter of distance, try to save it and watch without browsers guts.

That's a super picture! I couldn't figure out what you meant about scrolling at first because I was looking at the large image in a different window, not on the thread itself, but now I see it! You have to keep your eye fixed on the same spot, not follow the scrolling. Remarkable, some of the brass thingies seem to revolve as well as grow.
