I've started loving this small beauty.
Nice bokeh and crisp sharpness. Good colouring.

I agree, this lens is a excellent lens.

I love also to use it reverse for macro shooting, I think it is one of the best lenses to this specific purpose.

One of the best 50mm lens in my opinion, today I tested one zebra in Tropicarium in difficult environment it is performed very well.

I expect no difference. Will not better , not worst. This lens was the finest 50mm lens in Carl Zeiss Jena product line , perform so well on digital body and perform well on film too.
