While not a buy/sell situation, martinsmith99 has shown to be a pleasure
to deal with. Here's the story:

I sent to him a woven camera strap from the 1970s, at my expense.
I didn't care for it, but I preferred it be used by someone who did,
so I sent it along when he requested sources for these things.
I only asked for perhaps a first-chance buy of something he might be
selling, or something similar, in exchange.

After exchanging a couple of messages, covering various topics,
martinsmith99 decided to send to me an Olympus OM-to-EOS mount
adapter, at his own expense.

I only want to mention that this has been a wonderful outcome for me,
and that I would not hesitate to make such exchanges with Martin again.
The reciprocal nature of the outcome was purely welcome, and it seems
to further the sense of community we all share. In fact, I would likely
make further goodwill exchanges with most others here.

So, perhaps this now becomes a suggestion to everyone:
Non-valuable or unwanted items could be offered for exchange.
I spent only a few dollars to send to Martin; he spent only a few pounds
to send to me. This could be a great way for people to get rid of the items
they don't use or need, while making fair exchanges with others who have
similarly unwanted items. Maybe we could even create a new section
in the Marketplace, such as Trading Post - ?

So, my hat's off to martinsmith99. We both got something we were looking
for, and neither of us spent any great amount. Win-Win, all round!

Thanks for that Craig. It was a pleasure to deal with you.

Great that we could exchange items that were of benefit to each other. Just one of the many benefits of this great community!!
