The Auto Yashinon-DX 50mm/1.7 One of the best lenses I have, in my opinion.

Thanks. Yes it's has some properties which I love, can be very sharp but also very soft, saturated bokeh. With it I have produced some of my best images.

Here is my review on Retrocamera.

Or if you want to keep follow, on Flickr (here I could also publish some larger images).

Most of the colourshots are with the lens mounted on Canon EOS 350D.

The black and whites are shot on old Yashica J-7 camera, scanned from negative film (Tri-X mostly) with cheap scanner, so those are not so good to look at for sharpness, but for feeling maybe Wink

I have some interesting pic that I have not published yet, waiting in my archive. I'm specially thinking of some shrubbery images which show interesting bokeh....

Really nice ones indeed, as far as I know from wikipedia Yashica ordered many lens from Tomioka, perhaps this is the reason why so many old Yashica lenses are so good.
