This is the Pen EM lens, it's 6 elements in 4 groups, this design is not found in Pen F mount, the well known Pen F 1.8/38 is 6e/5g and physically larger.

Remounted for use on NEX:

Some boring initial test shots:

Thankyou, it will make a nice, light walkaround lens.

Finally, a flare test with the sun just out of frame.

The lens has an amber single coating.

Some random shots, first one is wide open, the rest at f8, they have been sharpened, just trying out this lens in it's intended role - a walkabout lens to turn the NEX into a point n shoot compact.

The flowers in the last series are really great, any chance you could put up a pic of the lens attached to the body??

I shall take a pic of the lens on camera.

Here's some walkaround shots I took today, all at f8, looks like this lens will be ideal for this task, which is what I intended it for. Smile

100% crop:

Against the sun, so contrast is reduced overall but no flare really.

100% crop:

100% crop:

Wide open, bokeh is of the smooth rather than wacky kind, indicating this is a highly corrected lens.

100% crop:

f4, guess focus inside a dark shop:
