While waiting for my M42 adapter, here are some snap-shots from todays Sunday trip to Kroppedal / Ole Roemer Museum, Denmark

The museum display lots of the old instruments that were used to map outer space. A study in polished metal, craft, design and lighting.

All photos taken with Olympus E-P1 PEN and 14-42 lens.

Different closing time and aperture, but all taken with ISO 1600 in
RAW.

Converted in Capture One, which I think gives the best results with my
Olympus files.

Stunning result ! Hard to believe these are came from 2x crop camera at ISO1600.

Nice shots & thanks for the link.

The sextant in #5 is of interest to me since it was made in Grimbsy an English port which is not too far away from where I was born. Grimsby was almost certainly founded by the Vikings so it is perhaps appropriate that the sexant is now sitting in a Danish museum.
