Shutter does not fire, mirror up.
I did manage to get it down with the self-timer but it doesn't move now.
So I think I should remove the front right part. (red arrow)
(I do have another body for spares, and sort of repair manual too)

Anyone know how to continue?
Do I take the mount and rings apart or remove prism et al. or both?

edit: seems it is part of mirror box
edit edit: paid 10 euros for both of them

I had an FT-2 that would do that to me at times.
Work around was to move the shutter speed to "B" and play with the mirror switch.
Make sure the mirror is down via the lock-up switch...

You are much braver than I am taking on a tear down like that.

Let us know how you make out with it.
