If I never used a camera other than holidays and family happenings etc, I would probably buy this one.

Well if it sunk to the bottom of whatever water source you where in, it would not be hard to find Very Happy

An old Nikonos is probably better.

I just picked up a Canon WP-1 underwater film camera.They float.
You would think that this one should also. Pretty important feature.
