Still not finished my scanning setup, but here's the diagram with my phone. Doesn't look like any Tokina or Vivitar I've seen

Looks more like the Super/S-M-C Takumar design which is 3.5 of course.

I didn't comment before, but I consider the optical design to be different. The second airspace in the Takumar is meaningfully larger.

It was always going to be different since the Rikenon is 2.8. The space between the third and rear is larger in the Rikenon and the sonnar-like third element looks a bit more convex, as does the rear element. Probably because it is closer to the mount it has to project a bit wider. But it looks very much derived from the Takumar design.

Well it is a nice lens, sharp wide open and pleasing bokeh. Just suffers from colour fringing in high contrast areas as can be seen in this shot.

Test series cropped F2.8,f3.5(ish between 3.8 and 4 since there is no half stop) F4 and F5.6 You can see contrast improving and fringing getting slimmer. Focus is on the tuning scale which is a bit receded

#1 2.8

#2 3.5

#3 4.0

#4 5.6

real world shot. Colour fringing is not a problem here. I didn't correct for it

Nor is it here:

or here while there is a lot of brightness and contrast

You need more extreme situations to show it up, like here where the wood crosses with the oof highlights in an essentially backlit situation.
