Luckily I was able to accumulate a few pretty unique 1,8/50 Pentacon lenses over the years.
All of them are sample-, maybe prototype lenses from Meyer/Pentacon Görlitz.

Klaus,

Nice collection, I'm a big fan of Pentacon lenses. It is my impression or the first left has the Auto-Manual lever in reverse position compared to the others?

I see 2 of them with the same serial number but the letters are different.
What the letters mean?

Renato, my guess is, that the additional letters stand for the different versions. Something was changed. Maybe similar to the Zeiss numbering for prototypes. Lens number + V1, V2...
I had two 135 Prakticar lenses with different added letters and they looked the same, but one was 25gr heavier. Something was different inside.
With the ...919 numbers on the photo, one difference is easy to see, one is a Pentacon electric, the other one a Pentacon auto.
Without opening, some differences will stay hidden (and I will not put them into parts, for sure)
