I own this lens too but haven't used it for a while. I must rectify that soon! I recently bought a matched Tamron hood off eBay for this lens in new and unused condition. Only problem is it has been in its box since it was manufactured and will not stay in its open position when extended. It's now sitting on top of a mug with a food tin on top to hold it open! Hopefully in time this will fix the problem.
