Hi all!
I purchased this manual lens on ebay. It has minor fungus inside. Any ideas where could I get service manual, or some kind of guidance how to diassemble this lens? I really like this lens, even though it's heavy.
Any help is appreciated.
Regards.

Minor fungus - wouldn't worry about it, probably doesn't affect IQ. If its easy to get at like on an element very near the front of the lens, then it might be easy to get at to clean. Any deeper then dissassembling a zoom like this is a major undertaking. Also its unlikely you will find any info on this lens, its hard enough to decide who might have made it first never mind find a service manual. I have a similar looking tokina 70-210mm.

Some months ago i purchased another "Mirage" lens, a like-new 300mm 1:4.5 (M42). The lens is built like a tank, but optically well below average. Does anybody know more about this "Mirage" brand?

I don't have info on Mirage, but the OP's 80-200mm zoom lens resembles the Kino Precision-made 85-205 f/3.8 two-touch zooms sold by Vivitar. Same configuration and layout. This Kino model is very easy to work on and disassemble. But you'll still need a lens spanner and good screwdrivers.
There are 3 set screws in the mid section that allows it to split apart. Once apart, you have access to the front of the rear assembly. The rear of the zoom assembly is at the front half. The rear of its lenses unscrew from there.
Remove the built-in hood, should be set screws visible once extended. Remove screws, unscrew the front rim and hood assembly. A lens spanner removes the front elements. Then you'll have to the rest of the zoom elements from the front.
Your lens doesn't appear to be badly fungus-ed. Perhaps leave it as is. _________________ "The eyes are useless when the mind is blind."

Not a Kiron for sure. Most probably Makinon: Click here to see on Ebay.de mostly sold as Hanimex brand: Click here to see on Ebay.de
I had it and it was really good. Both optically and mechanically. It produced superb tones in harsh sun conditions. _________________ ---------------------------------

Thanks Pancolart! I'll try to look for Makinon and Hanimex lenses manuals, if there is any.
