just received an excellent copy of this superb fast lens, rushed to the park to shoot something Smile

Excellent photos. I love the large aperture at telephoto length type lenses, you can achieve some amazing results. Great job!

That's a tough call as the fence adds to the shot...well I think it does.

Great shots. This is one of the Minolta lenses that I don't own yet.

thanks much Walter ! I was hesitating a bit since it's not an ED/APO lens, but now I see it's worth to have definitely.

You have some excellent shots here, showing much of the character of this lens.

I own it too, mounted on a canon DSLR.
Got mine in excellent condition 2 years ago for 100 €, I figure this was a bargain.

I like its build quality, good resolution, fast aperture.
On the downside I find that CA (both longitudinal and lateral) is a real issue with it, so I tend to avoid shooting it in high contrast situations because of this.
