I just saw it in exakta mount.

I also don't own the oreston 50/1.4 (never saw any, just Pentacon labelled), the Domiron 50/2 (the few ones I met are in exakta mount, just like Attila's one) and some of the longest Telemegor/Orestegor.

But the Telefogar in m42 is something that I never saw in any of the lists around the net.

Lovely lens. Something soft with very nice color rendition.

All of us want to have the sharper lens, but love some soft ones too.

What beauty hobby ! ! ! !

Thanks to all!

The Telefogar seems to have exchangeable mount. The M42 screw mount can be unscrewed and below it is very fine thread (not M39).

Telefogar exist only in Altix mount I think. I have one custom converted to M42.

Lovely lens No-X congrats!

I agree with attila but only on the fact that Altix Telefogar can be converted in m42 with the rear part of a meyer primotar 3,5/50mm ... I'd never seen a "native" m42, only altix and exakta copies .However , some ebay vendors proposed M42 Telefogar recently (Italy) . It was available in Praktina , Exakta, Altix mounts, an why not in M42 ? My copy is an Altix one .

There is a Pentina version, too. I can't say if my lens was custom modded or not, but if it's a mode, than very proffesional - the thread is precise and accurate, infinity focus is exact, same material as rest of the lens and the thread has a haunch/start/angle (I don't know the proper translation - the thread is tapered at start, as professionally made).

There exist altix to nex adapter now. A bit expensive but I have considered them specifically to try the telefogar.

Thanks fellas.
Yes, it is a pleasing lens to use. My M42 adapter has a helicoid so that helps with mfd.
At portrait distance it isn't needed though.
Here are a couple from this morning.
