Hi! All,

I'm newbie on this forum and just changed from
compact camera to M4/3 . A nice colleague introduced
c-mount lens for me to play with my E-PL1 and recently
I feel the old cine lens are higher than before, so I've tried
some cheap CCTV lens on my old E-PL1 and here they are ...

Regards,

Sun

First one is CCTV 25/1.4 price inc s/h around USD19.

use camera monotone S+2 / C+2 / RGB+2
resize and add text by photoscape with
auto level low / auto contrast low / sharpen +1

the cctv 35/1.7 is about 24 usd with adapter.
and the cheapest one only 9 usd is this ...
cctv 25/1.2 ( it marked 1.2 but we think it's not) Rolling Eyes

My friend took pictures with this lens
compare with the Pentax 25/1.4
using Spot metering at the same place.
The shutter speed of Pentax was 1/1000
while the 25/1.2 was 1/800, so the real
f of this lens should be 1.5-1.6 not 1.2
( Courtesy of Mr.Tamrong on this notice ). Very Happy

OFFICIAL WARNING!

You are having too much fun with cheap c mount lenses. This may spread. Please consider the contagion.

Weird bouquet with the 25mm 1.4 but it certainly makes the subject stand out!

Love the Avatar.

Thanks.

I am struck by how modern China looks these days, nice to see this!

I particularly like the second lens, the Chinese 1.7, the first one, the 1.4 has a strange rendering that I like on some subjects but not on others, the pircutre of the old woman with bicycle works best I think.

Many thanks for sharing both the lens info and the views of modern China!
