Unfortunately not a MF lens although I did focus manually.... Wink

Shot with EOS 5D + EF100-400L

Full moon

Half eclipse

Full eclipse - the white dots are stars, not dead/stuck pixels.... Wink

Brilliant shots, Bob. I found it difficult to get good pictures of the moon during the eclipse due to cloud here, but I wouldn't have got anywhere near this standard.

I've looked at the EXIF data to get the ISO, aperture and shutter speeds. Are these full frame pics or crops?

Thanks Peter - the first two images are crops sized at 800x600, I think the third is FF resized to 800x600.

I'd need to dig out the originals to check for sure.

For once it was a clear sky up here.

Oh please don't bother digging them out Bob. The first two looked like crops to me but not having a 400 lens, I wasn't certain by how much.

(Thinks.. I could always try it using a 2x converter with a 200 lens)
