It's a breech lock type:

Appears to be the rear of either a T4 or TX lens . . . without any adapter attached.

If it's a Soligor lens (you do not say) it is T4. If it's a Vivitar lens it could be either T4 or TX.

You can still buy T4 and TX adapters on eBay for many different camera bodies.

Identify the lens and folks here will be able to tell you if it's T4 or TX.

thank you guardian for reply but it is not so:
the lens Soligor 35/2.8 with T4 adapter unmounted:

any other ideas?
PS on the lens and on the adapter there is no letter id of mount

macheck,

The breech mount looks to me to be either Canon FL or FD. In the case of T4, I think FL and FD are effectively the same.

All of the T4 adapters that I own have letters identifying the mount- but I've seen some custom modified T-mount adapters for equipment that are not marked.

This one looks like it could fit a 3-flange bayonet, the large opening cut to it fits over two of them. Any marks at all on the adapter?

I have T4 to canon adapter it is different as on pictures below:

The adapter subject of this post has a push pin, canon one has slide one and generaly does not fit Canon FL body and is (I think) genuine T4 Soligor adapter not a custom mod.

Ha! A lot of help I am. Laughing
Thanks for the information.

Interesting! I would've thought Icarex was too obscure to warrant a Soligor adapter.
