Here few shots with a more uncommon Leica lens.

1st shot is a distance shot over approx. 2 km, the others are closer. Taken with Canon 1DsMkIII and adapter Leica to EOS (in the meantime I modified the mount to Nikon F permant). All shots wide open what means f 6.8 Laughing

The results are very sharp but the lens is usable only with monopod or tripod.

Hi Rolf,
I just bought this lens for birding with my Canon 7D. Due to olny have f6.8, it is not so easy to focus.

Welcome Samson.

This is a great lens. First image is beautiful - the others are ok but would be difficult with an AF lens too. So let say flying birds is not the domain of this lens. Better for placid birds.
