Great shot, Hari, I like it a lot.
Impressive rendition of this lens so wide open, curious bokeh.

Yes, impressively sharp wide open. Is this what they call "cat's eye" bokeh?
Must have cost you a fortune!

this was a quick and dirty shot on the street, i'm not travelling for 2 weeks and will finally have some time to take more pictures.

decent pictures.

yes, this is the typical cat's eye bokeh - actually, it should be cat's eye oof highlight rendering

well, a mint noctilux never comes cheap ... but, to us addicts, the cost of the drug is immaterial Laughing

thanks Carsten! i hafta say this was a quick and dirty shot on the street after dinner, better shots coming up soon

for future reference, this lens has been in use for 3 months only, looks and feels like it just came off the shelf, came with the full packaging/manuals etc + best of all, a 20 month warranty from Leica Camera AG, Solms - i grabbed it for 6,250

thank you for your kind compliment, this is a pretty huge lens for Leica M standards but whattaperformer! i love its character!

i was hoping to take some more pix but I'm down sick since 3 days and lots of work tomorrow so hopefully on friday i get a few hours to go out and play!
