Thanks all. I was pleased with the results. It shows me that I can enlarge quite a bit from images on 24MP a7ii with this lens! _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

I have this one and a few more, 40-f1,8 "Pancake", two 28-f3,5 of different shape and tele-zoom 80-200 f4.
It was sleeping for some twenty years and was resurrected after recent Sony A7r purchase. All my old lenses were adapted to Canons except of Hexanons, because of the similar bayonet to film/sensor distance on both Konica and Canon cameras. Now all Hexanons are working and what a performers they are! It is a one of the sharpest lenses I have, and I have a lot of glass. |

Yes I have been very impressed with the Konica glass. I binged when I got the adapter and currently have 28mm 3.5, 35mm 2.8, 40mm 1.8, 50mm 1.8, 50mm 1.7 (2), 52mm 1.8, 57mm 1.4 (this thread), 135mm 3.5 (2), 135mm 3.2, 135mm 2.5, 200mm 3.5, 80-200 3.5 zoom
I got the 35mm, one of the 50mm 1.7 the 52mm 1.8 and a 135mm 3.5 with a working TC autoreflex and some other stuff for 50 USD. Prices are still relatively low on konica lenses but I predict with the increasing popularity of mirrorless that will not last much longer. Currently some of the best bang for buck glass available IMHO. _________________ photos are moments frozen in time |

Nice photos , looks beutiful on the camera. I have the 50mm 1.4 and waiting for the adapter, I think it is the later with the f22 aperture, just wondering if the difference is significant in terms of IQ.Thanks |
