Taken with my Panny G1 last summer.

All @f1.4. Very soft wide open and the images needed a lot of sharpening in LR, but works in some situations.

hope you enjoy them! Smile

Coole Park (BTW - the house is gone, I don't know if it was torn down of due to fire)

Famous for its "Autograph Tree" inside the walled garden with carvings left behind by famous English and Irish (and may be American?) poets, writers and play rights and others.

I haven't had chance to try my AR 1.4/50 outdoors at distance yet but I did try some closeups and mine is sharp wide open at close distances, whether it will be at larger distances I don't know.

Looks like an interesting lens.

Yeah it is an interesting lens indeed. For me I am not sure if it is a keeper. I did get this lens a while ago, and my initial test on the E-300 was great:

Perhaps it is behaving differently on the Panny G1 Confused

True for most fast aperture lenses, they tend to perform much better at closer focusing distances than at farther away objects. I am sure stop down a little it will be a strong performer.
