Konica Hexanon 40mm f/1.8 on the Nex

I've been looking for a standard length lens for the Nex for quite some time. The 35/1.7 TV lens is great except the sides and corners are horrible. The Canon 35/2 is nice but big, the Voigtlander Ultron 35/1.7 is beautiful but with a terrible minimum focusing distance. So what about the little Konica? I love it!

#1 - f2.8 @ ISO 800

#2 @ ISO 1600 (as were all the rest)

Remarkable image clarity! Shocked
It seems that I have lost a lot by not following these Konica lenses
(but until last year I didn't have a camera to use them on)

Laughing If I say excellent perhaps you think I am Konica lover , which is right Laughing Konica lenses are good as Zeiss, Nikon or Leica etc

I'm really happy with it, it performs so well! Only one shot out of 20 was not perfectly in focus thanks to the new Nex focus peaking Smile

But...as for the telecaster...arrrrgh I need one! Laughing

the Konica seems to do very well!
I find the focal length of a 40mm on APS-C very attractive, 35mm less so
( grr.. my camera won't take the Hexanon, a Pentax FA43 or an Ultron 2/40 aren't cheap )
