Hello.. I was trying to take some pics with the KIRON 2.8/105 Contax/Yashica mount... This summer in the UK is very bad (too cloudy:)), so I had to use the flash as well...
Canon 30D + post-process A.LightRoom..nice evening...

I also have the "Lester A Dine version of the Kiron lens...They are basically the same lens, but the Dine lens was sold to the Dine corp for them to market the lens (& cameras & ringlights) to the Dental profession for inter-oral photography...The Dine version has magnification scales & some also have diagrams of teeth to aid Dentists with inter-oral photography...Mine stays on my camera (a Nikon D70s) more than any other lens

Vivitar also marketed the same lens as their series 1 105mm.
Sometimes they can be found for bargain basement prices.
Look for a sn that starts with 22, that's a kiron..

And they're calling it an f/2.5 lens.

Very nice portfolio trifox. That's a lovely lens. BTW - Russ will tell you that most Kiron lenses are great, a sentiment with which I agree. Smile Smile Smile
