I must go to Russia one day. But to visit the real country, not the tourist parts of it.

Thankyou for these great pics! I've always wanted to see Kaliningrad (ex Konigsberg), it has a very interesting history. The dunes is a fantastic place, are they full-size trees in the distance?

dunes are located inside the national park Curonian Spit. You can live anywhere, you can swim in the Baltic Sea or in the Curonian Lagoon, but you can not walk on the dunes is prohibited. You can only look at the dunes with special inspection sites. If you go to Kaliningrad, get in the car rental will be more convenient.

NB. You can stay in a small guest house opposite the Cathedral in Kaliningrad. See photo.

and now even point. it was a one-day visit. Friday night, I flew to Kaliningrad, a Sunday morning returned back to Moscow. believe me, I have not managed to photograph so many things...
