Smile Many thanks! This is earliest J-9 what I could buy in KIEV/CONTAX mount, I was curious , scratches are not harm anything or not make any error what is not fixable easily in PP what I have to do anyway on healthy lenses too.

Great series, it's still a Sonnar and renders like one, apart from the loss of contrast I'd say it's the same as it ever was, congrats!

Laughing this is my 6th copies I have all possible variants from this J9 RF lens, I bought to try and let them to go , but hard to sell any. I not even try any of these early ones. I did try twice to sell latest black version, first time buyer return it, due he would get M42. Second time, buyer simple open it and assembled wrongly , certainly he did say he didn't touched. I think I will never sell it if lens so much like me Laughing

The Jupiter-9 for Contax/Kiev made by KMZ is relatively rare. Most ones I see are from Arsenal or LZOS. Congratulations on finding one Smile
