Hello,

Well, this is a very common and well known lens, but I'm still impressed by its quality!
Here are some photos done today on A7 (excepted the first one I did some days ago)

Regards,
Pierre

Nice set showing off what that lens can do. The swan isn't my favourite but the little girl fishing and teh view along the street? Lovely. Like 1 small

I am chasing the Jupiter 21A, it is lighter and, they say, optically better.
Do you have experience with this lens?

I don't have experience with 21A, but I have with 21T, which was made by KMZ too, but before the A (A started in 1968, my "T" is from 1959 and 1965).

Honestly, I don't see any difference in rendering. Coating is different, yes. But both are very sharp. I visited a friend who has the A, it's true that it's lighter. I think the big difference in price is all about collection.
You can see here photos I did with Jupiter-21T on A7 also : http://pierretizien-photos.blogspot.fr/2015/06/jupiter-21t-200mm4.html

This is a great sharp lens as long as you keep the flare down. It's so heavy because of the huge chunks of glass in the optical design:

My copy of 21M (1989). Photos from the Canon 450D, JPG directly from the camera. Everything Wide Open F4. I love this lens, it's amazing!
