A bit of a soft lens I have the impression - depends on the settings you used though Smile
But in any case, I like more how it renders the portrait rather than the landscapes. There resides a certain atraction in the color rendition and the natural softness of the face.

The I69 is a lens for half-frame camera, no?

Yep, half frame for Chaika with m39 mount and flange of 28mm if i don't remember wrong. Normal m39 have 28.8mm so it needs to be modified slightly to get infinity Very Happy

@gearsNcogs: Thx! Wink

Rare lens. You don't see that one often.

When I scrolled down the tree pano, it seemed to never end. Wink

Thanks a lot for all comments Very Happy

A bigger version of the Pano can be seen here

18x vs 6x (forum version)

NB: big file!

You may see some faults with the branches on the trees. I guess it was difficult to calculate this correct Wink

Very nice samples from a very nice lens!

I too have this lens and I use it more than the M.Zuiko 17mm!

It maybe weak at the edges but I don't mind that for street photography, portraits and B/W where I mostly use this lens.

I agree, Industar 69 is also a lot smaller and is a nice walk around compact lens.

I almost never use my Olycake or my Panacake. it's so much more exiting to bring a mf lens Very Happy

Yes, I think you're right Klaus. Don't have the lens here (because all my stuff is in storage until we move to the new house:-)) but I'm pretty sure that I never saw a filter threads on the lens Wink

Just got one.
Now I have to wait to give it a trial.

It seems to be a very good lens and your photos are beautiful !

Do you know wether it hits the 5DMkII's mirror when at infinity ?

The registration distance is too short to be used on an SLR, but NEX, m4/3's, NX... can use it.
