lovely niece and lovely photo.

when you got the 50/1.4 i encounraged getting the 85/1.4...i'm glad you did, as i'm sure you are! i dont use the 50 much as i'm not crazy about the FL, but love this lens and use it lots on 5d and for film on my contax ax. i think with this and the distagon 35/1.4 i could be happy to the exclusion of all other lenses about 90% of the time.

Thanks Tony Smile The 85/1.4 is absolutely stunning, you were totally correct in your recommendation! I must confess that I prefer the 50mm focal length of the 50/1.4 for general shooting however, as I find 85mm a touch long.

I'd love a 35/1.4, but I just bought a Voigtländer Ultron 35/1.7 for my Nex (to get the 50mm focal length), so I fear that will be one for the future now!
