Hi,
few weeks ago I bought a lot of summars, 35mm, 65mm and 120mm
the 2 first are mint condition, and the 120, well, is in very good shape but need some repair.
The good thing about this lenses is that they are very easy to dissmantle. there is the frame with the aperture ring(16blades) and to lens groups, rear and front easy to unscrew
First picture shows one of the elements, they both have a little oil on the outtr part of the lens, Iwould have to separate the elements and I do not realy want to do so but the paint that cover the elements is falling apart
What paint should I use? the black spot on the lens is just old paint and the yellow thing on the upper left oil
Second picture shows the aperture blades, they where very stiff so I cleaned thep with isopropilic alcohol but they are still abit stiff, frame shoul be cleaned also
Second picture shows the blades and the peeling paint
Any advice wellcome _________________ Canon 5D, EF 100/2.8 Macro, Samyang 8/3.5, Zenit 11, M42 Zenitar 16/2.8, M42 tokina RMC 17/3.5, M42 mir-20 20/3.5 , M42 Fujinon W EBC 35/2.8, M42 industar 50-2 50/3.5, M42 Helios 44M-6 58/2, M42 Helios 40 85/1.5, M42 Cyclop 85/1.5, M42 Jupiter-9 85/2, Yashica FX-D quartz, C/Y Yashica ML 24/2.8, C/Y Yashica ML 28/2.8, C/Y yashica ML 35/2.8, C/Y Yashica ML 50/1.4, C/Y Yashica ML 50/1.7, Canon auto bellows, novoflex m42 bellows, Wollensak mikroraptar 50/3.5, Leitz milar 65/4.5, leitz summar 35mm, summar 65/4.5, summar 120mm 4.5, Canon 500D close-up lens, Raynox DCR-250 +9, Raynox MSN-202 +20, Flash Sunpak RD-2000, Flash metz 20 c-2
