No, I'll never sell mine either. They might be cheap and cheerful, but there's nothing wrong with that when they deliver these kind of results.

Can't speak for Nikon, but on the Canon side some adapters are "chipped" and communicate with the body, which allows the AF point to light up when in focus. The AF light isn't perfect though, especially when shooting with big apertures or long focal lengths.
