Hello all
I picked this up a month ago (when I wasn't really sure what to look for in M42) and hadn't actually used it until today. Can anyone guess who might have made it? It's a very compact Hanimex HMC 70-210mm f4.0 - 5.6 "macro" ( at 1:4 on the long end ) zoom...made in Korea!
I wasn't expecting much, but (IMO) it did well in poorish light with a shivering photographer hand holding the shots! Should I still ebay it?
From the side:
From the top:
Not quite "the bird" but certainly a duck (210mm, F5.6, 1/500 sec, ISO200)
100% crop
Her fella (210mm, F5.6, 1/125 sec, ISO200)
100% crop
Aha...the bird! I think it was shocked to see a Hanimex on my camera (210mm, F5.6, 1/640 sec, ISO200)
100% crop

I own exactly the same lens , and it is a real "no-name" lens ! No brand ! Only a serial number and focal indication , nothing else . Tested once , buried in my lens case .... I dont know exactly where ... |
