Just got a Fujinon-TV 12.5mm 1.4 C Mount

Mint condition with a box.

Fits my C - NEX adaptor perfectly without needing mod (Doesn't touch on the sides before butting up flush to the mount)

First impresions are that it products a 20mm image circle so it vignette is not to bad. (would be good on a 4/3's with its 21mm diag)

Seems realy sharp in the centre (f2) but will have to wait till tomorrow to get a few better pics to post.

Doesn't seem to be anything on this lens in the Forum.

Anyone got one....

Nice lens - Please tell me what you think?

Shot with NEX-5 (APS-C Sensor)

This would be a good wide Lens for all the Nikon1 and m4/3......with the Large NEX sensor this works out to be about a 22.5mm(35mmequiv) which is not so wide....but hey it is a F1.4

Will post the original first then the Crops.

(F8 )

Crop1

Crop2

(F1.4)

(F5.6 I think)

interseting.
the round vignete is useless
so if we ...let say only using the crop one, it will be same as how mm lens? 50mm?

Hi Iaza

Ignore my maths and 35mm equiv calc.....I've messed up....

I'm sure one of the more knowledgable guys will correct me shortly.

I guess that this lens was designed for a 1"tube(16mm diag sensor size)

Therefore the inner usable 16mm of this 19.5mm image circle should be a 12.5mm FOV ??????

Personally it doesn't look that wide.

If you use just the inner 16mm (same as Nikon 1 sensor size) then the FOV is equivalent to 34mm lens on a full frame camera:

12.5 x (diagonal of full frame) / 16 = 34

I modify this lens for fuller sensor coverage. You can read an independent review of my 12.5mod here, with sample photos:

I can do this modification on your Fujinon-TV 12.5/f1.4. I offer other modifications and lens servicing as well.
